SUMMARY:PILON webinar - Following the digital paper trail
DESCRIPTION:Registrations are now open: \nI am pleased to invite you to the PILON Cybercrime Working Group and Corruption Working Group webinar “Following the digital paper trail”\, taking place on Friday 1 April 2022 at 11:30am Canberra time/ 1:30pm Nuku’alofa time/ 12:30pm Yaren time. \nCorruption and financial crime are growing concerns for many countries around the world\, including those across the Pacific. The increasingly transnational and complex nature of corruption and financial crime is making them more difficult to both investigate and prosecute. \nCyber criminals will continue to adapt to new technologies in order to achieve their desired objectives. As financial crime and corruption are becoming increasingly sophisticated\, the proper use and analysis of digital evidence is vital to achieving successful prosecutions for corruption related offences. \nThis webinar will feature presenters working in law enforcement and prosecution agencies and will be of interest to any officials involved in the gathering\, analysis or use of digital evidence. \nAn agenda will be circulated in coming days with further information on the speakers and topics. \nWe invite you to register for this webinar via the following link: \nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER \nWe encourage you to share the webinar details with any colleagues who may benefit from this webinar\, including police officers\, digital forensic specialists and prosecutors. \nPlease do not hesitate to contact the PILON Secretariat (pilon@pilonsec.org) should you have any questions.
